A) multi-vendor meaning multi sellers? can I have unlimited from them?
B) Do I need another paid plugin to work on this? meaning the Pro version.

A) the multi-vendor means multi-sellers. And you can have unlimited from them.
However, if you want to have a really big size, I think that you should also pay attention to the volume of your hosting server. A suitable volume will help your site work better.
B) To turn your site into the multi-vendor site, you need to install the multi-vendor plugin like Dokan, WC Vendors, WC MarketPlace or WCFM MarketPlace.
To have the pro version, you need to purchase it directly from the developer.
